Now is the Time


Philippians 4:8 (New International Version)
8Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
Our thoughts can lift us up or drag us down. Some people dwell on negative things all the time and they become negative people. They have the ability to find something bad in every good day. Our minds and hearts should dwell on good things. Think about God's blessings, friends, accomplishments, dreams, hopes, visions. We can help ourselves to change our minds and therefore change our attitude and outlook. Try this, don't watch any news for the next 30 days. You will amazed at how much your attitude and mindset improve. About 95% of the news these days is negative. Continually pound your brain with that everyday and it has to bring you down. Don't worry if anything really big happens someone will tell you. The news right now is like watching a soap opera. You can not watch it for 30 days and when you tune back in all the same stuff is still going on. One more bit of advice, stay away from negative people. Find some positive friends to hang out with. Laugh a little more, no laugh a lot more. Break out of the rut. try a new restaurant, go to a movie, a happy movie. If you live near the beach like we do go down and walk along the water and pray as you do thanking God for all His blessings. try it what have you got to lose.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
