He is With Me

He is with me!
Such assurance!
Even when I’m most alone,
Seems that I can hear Him saying,
“I will not forsake my own.”

He is with me
While the storms rage.
He is with me through the night.
And I know that ‘mid the darkness
He will furnish me a light.

He is with me!
Yes, He promised
Through the valleys dark with pain,
I can count on Him to guide me
To the mountain’s peak again.

He is with me!
What a Savior!
I need never walk alone,
For He’s promised to be with me
To world’s end and yet beyond.
